Welcome to the Leeds No. 1 Branch's learning pages.

The Branch is part of the forward thinking, progressive CWU policy on adult learning and development. We believe in education for all and in lifelong learning.

The Branch has trained Union Learning Representatives (ULRs) who can discuss learning issues and provide information and advice to members and their friends and families. They can also help members access different learning opportunities either in the workplace, at a local college/learning centre or at home.  Learning can take place in taught classes, self help or 1-2-1 sessions, in learning clubs or online.  If there is something you’d like to learn we try to find out how you can access that learning.

Where we have a large enough demand we will try to organise taught courses either in a learning centre or another location convenient to the learners. 

Our Branch learning centre is the Leads to Learning at Leeds Mail Centre, Leodis House, Leodis Road, Stourton, Leeds, LS10 1AZ.
